Hockeytown Quick Hits is written by Nick Barnowski. Try not to be fooled by the blog name -- yes, most of the content will be Detroit Red Wings based, but I will try to cover the other sports that I'm interested in as well. Basically, don't be surprised if I do in fact end up making multiple posts in a row not pertaining to the 11-time Stanley Cup champions.
Although this site was created in May 2010, I've been writing for a couple of years now about various topics. In 2006, one of my earlier blogs was featured on WXYZ-TV Detroit with Tom Leyden (who also helped name this blog). That led to other features in the now defunct Ann Arbor News, the Detroit News, the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus, and WWJ "Newsradio 950."
